Catholic Social Justice

Our Catholic faith calls us not only to worship God, but to recognize Christ in every person we encounter. Catholic Social Justice begins with the dignity of every human life and invites us to put the love of Christ into action—standing with the poor and vulnerable, welcoming the marginalized, caring for our neighbors, seeking peace, and working for the common good. We believe that faith must reach beyond the doors of our churches and into the world around us. When we serve others, defend human dignity, and work together for the common good, we become the hands and heart of Christ in our world.

Pope Francis in his encyclical ‘Laudato Si’ raised the cry that our Earth is troubled and not well and we her children are the cause. Our times demand that we live a new ethic with our planet’s care in mind along with the abundance of life that shares our common home. All Saints is committed to promoting that Creation Care ethic. Our Creation Care ministry encourages the practice of a stewardship that will allow all life to thrive so that future generations will inherit a healthy planet that we have enjoyed.
